Beautiful Jenelle Birthday!

Good Morning Stampers!!!

Yes it is really me!!!! How are you all doing? I have been wonderful! I took a little break this month from stamping to spend some time with my awesome family! These are the most important people in my life and I am so glad I am able to be with them!!!!

I made this card a few weeks ago for my friend Danika's daughter Jenelle! She turned 1!!!!! What a special special birthday!!!!! I used Lilly at the Beach from Pink Cat Studios! I can not tell you enough how much I love these stamps! I used my Copics to color Jenelle (LILLY) in and added some glitter to her fins. I used the new Burmuda Bay ribbon from Stampin Up which matched PERFECTLY with the Designer paper I picked out. I THINK the paper is from Basic Grey!

Zakary is at his moms this week, but will be back next Sunday for his last full week here before school starts. Our house is going to be so quiet when the school year begins and Zain is going to miss his brother so much! Every other weekend is just not enough time for him to be with us. Thank goodness for school vacations!!! Zak has made so much progress here with us this summer! He is eating vegetables, his manners have improved tremendously! He is swimming like a fish! And so much more!!!! Chris and I are so proud of him!!!! We could really see the light at the end of the tunnel back in June and here we are just 2 short months WOW!!!!!

I am hoping to get some crafting in this week as well!!!! If that sun is shining though I will be outside with Zain!!!!!

Rain is here today so we are getting caught up on some MUCH needed house work!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy!!!!!

Biker Babe

HI Stamping Friends!!!

Last night my mom took the boyZ for a sleep over. Zakary was so excited. He never gets to sleep over there because Chris and I are a little selfish since his time here during the school year is so limited. He is here a lot more in the summer so he was able to go and talked about it for the first 3 days! LOL Chris and I had some adult time last night and it was spectacular!

I made this card using Cindy's Dirty Girl sketch from a couple of weeks ago. The Dirty Girls over on SCS had a whole weekend of challenges. I am hoping to print more off and put them in my book so I can play soon!

On this card I used some of Gina K's digi paper. Can I just say what an awesome idea to whomever thought of that! I love it because usually when I buy a pack of paper I have my favorite sheets....then when it's all gone I have to buy a whole new pack IF I can find it...Digi paper...always have what I want!!!!!

I used the bikabababella which I have been wanting for some time now! I got her when we went for our shopping trip. I also for the little yellow flowers as well. I colored my image with my copics...duh hahaha

Off to get the two Z's today. Hoping the weather is nice enough for Chris and I to join them in a quick swim before heading back home. I love the pool on hot sunny days!!!!

Have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy!!!!

Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call

Hi Stamping Friends!!!!

Yes you read the title correctly, I am apply to be on a Design Team for Inky Impressions! I do not have any of their stamps.....YET and I actually just heard of the company and let me tell you the stamps are SO CUTE!!!!! Go check out the store and let me know what you think!!! My favorite is Lili's Secret and UH OH Spaghettio O's. How cute would those 2 stamps would be on a card!!!!! I can not wait to place my order!!!!!!

In order to apply for the DT (Design Team) I had to post one card and one non-card project that displays coloring. I used my Sarah Kay stamp and used my Copics on Gina K paper! The DSP is some VERY old SU paper that I thought went well with this image!!!! I loved coloring this image in!!!!

I sat at dinner tonight with Chris and the boyZ, I was so excited to let them know I would be in my stamp room for a "real" reason tonight. I started telling him about the deadline, this that and other things....he then looked at me with horror in his eyes and said "Kylah today is the 3rd" So here I am at the last minute posting to my blog. I must have been having way too much fun with the family the past few days....Really where did July go?

For my non-card project I made a photo album for the boyZ! They have been playing ball together outside and I have captured some great moments. I wanted somewhere to display them all. I used Tyler the jock from Bella. I also colored him with my Copics on Gina K paper (which I need more of ASAP!!!!!) I love the little clips from Stampin Up. It just added a little something to the project. I also distressed around Tyler and the layering colors. I usually don't like that look but on this project it just fits!
I want to thank everyone at Inky Impressions for this wonderful opportunity! I also would like to wish everyone that tried out GOOD LUCK...I have gone to your blogs and you all ROCK!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy....I know I have been!!!!!

Light Problems

Hi Friends!

Man oh man I have been having some serious problems taking pictures of my cards! This one looks horrible but it was the best one out of 25!!!!! Hoping to play more with my camera soon so I can see what's going on.

I used Gina K's OUT WEST stamp set for this card....which I just gave back to Cindy WAAAAHHH BUT hoping to buy VERY soon!!!!

The designer paper is one that I bought from my shopping trip a few weeks ago. It just screams Cowboys!!!! I colored my image with my copics and the card sketch was over on Gina K's stampTV!

Last night we went to see AC/DC with Zakary and it was so much fun!!!! He had a GREAT time, I am so excited that we could do this for him!!!!

Well off to go get Little Z at my moms!

Enjoy doing whatever you love most!

Sunflowers

Hi!

I had such a beautiful image of this card in my head and "THIS" is what came out. So not what I wasthinking about. I made this for my grandmother's birthday.

I used a sketch from SCS and used Gina K stamps. I then added black chunky glitter to the center of the flowers. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I was so upset after doing this and Zakary was working on a project next to me....he said Kylah I really like the glitter and I think Mum will too....plus you made it that will make her love it. That really touched me....I have been trying to make him understand how important handmade gifts are and how they are made with so much LOVE....I think he is getting it!!!!!!

Well I am off to watch a little TV before heading to bed! I hope you all have so much fun doing what you LOVE!

Chillin Birthday

What a wonderful Saturday!!!! It started off a little rainy, but Chris and I had high hopes so we pack up the kids and drove to the beach over in Sunapee, NH. We are so happy we did because the day was BEAUTIFUL!!! They had so much fun playing in the sand and swimming in the COLD water!!!!! I even got in!!! We picked Sunapee because I use to go there when I was much younger and we really like bringing the kids to places we use to go when we were their age ;o)

We left the beach and came home to get ready for a good friend Corey's birthday dinner at a local restaurant. You know me that meant I had not made the card yet....I grabbed berrafella stamp from Bella and a few Copics and this is what I came up with. So sorry about the phot...I took it in the car (on the way to dinner) on my skirt haha!!!! We had a yummy dinner and an enjoyable time visiting with our friends!

Well I am off to sit with Chris...I think he needs a little aloe on his back...not enough sunscreen today....

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend I know we will!!!!!! Thank you so much for stopping by I love seeing all the new people that have been commenting it means so much!!!! Always brightens my day!

Hoppy Birthday to You!

Hi Stampin Friends!

What a wonderful day I had today!!!! I spent most of the day working with Eleanor and then came home to all 3 of my boyZ! We had a fun afternoon in the backyard with the pool and water guns! Tonight I started a new "training" program with my friend Cindy (you may have heard of her one happy stamper ;o) ) We are starting walking/running intervals and tonight we hit the cemetery. We had a GREAT workout and I feel wonderful! I am so excited to do it again on Sunday!

I am also so excited about this card!!! I won Lauren Meaders contest a few weeks ago and my prize came in the mail from Pink Cat Studio the other day! I couldn't wait to ink up Billy! This image with the frog on his head is just so cute!!!! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday paired with some new designer paper from my shopping trip last week! I colored Billy with my copics ;o)

Speaking of my trip I forgot to mention that I met a great Blogger!!!!! Donna-Marie ROCKS! She works at Wholly Scaps in North Hampton, NH. This was our last stop on our shopping trip and the store was GREAT!!! Donna-Marie really knows her stuff!!!! Check out her blog and make sure you say HI!!!!!!

Lots to do tonight! I have a workshop tomorrow evening....maybe I should figure out what we are doing ;o) Have a wonderful night!

Grateful for Family

Hi Stamping Friends!

Oh my goodness where does time go? So much has been going on here at the Lent/Marro household these days. I love planning little outings with t he boyZ or just playing outside in the back yard. We bought a little $10.00 blow up pool (which I had to blow up with all my own air because Chris was at work, with the pump in his car, and Zain WANTED to swim!). We have been enjoying the pool and the SUN. I am soooo grateful for all the family time we have been able to have this summer! I LOVE that Zakary is with us this summer!

I made this card LAST month for my SU Club swap. I needed a quick card and one that I could mass produce very quickly! I wanted to use new IN colors! I used my Stampamagig so everything lined up very well! It is a bright card which I LOVE! I also used my SU textured plates in the Big Shot. I bought them 6 months ago and this is the first time I have used them BUT I had to have them LOL!

I hope you all have fun doing whatever it is that makes you HAPPY!!!!

Cowgirl Birthday Wishes

Hi Stamping Friends!!!

Her I go again playing with the wonderful Weiman Wrangler digi stamp images from Pink Cat Studios! The DSP I used is some very old SU paper I had in my stash. I colored the horseshoe and put some stickles all over it. I love my bling!!! I also put some crystal effect on the balloon. My image is colored with COPICS!

Whew I have been so busy! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I know I did! Friday the fireworks were here in Keene, we took the boyZ to watch but they were set off so late (10:30ish) and Zakary was not that into it. He was so tired! Zain on the other hand was screaming BOOM BOOM LOUD BOOM he LOVED them!!!!
Saturday we went to my great uncles 80th birthday party and then went back to my parents for more fireworks. My dad sets some off at the top of our road and again Zain LOVED it! He kept clapping and screaming YAAAA PAPA!!!! Zakary had a nice time with my cousin Sydney. They were up to no good ;o)

Today was such a beautiful day, NO RAIN!!!!! We stayed at home most of the day. Chris had to work so the boyZ and I played outside and had a picnic! AHHH it was so wonderful!

Tomorrow I am off shopping to different scrapbook and stamping stores :) No stamping till Tuesday night...I have not touched a stamp in a few days...I am starting to shake! HAHA

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!!

Sheriff Ethan

Hello Stamping Friends!

I am ready for a full day of NO rain! I hate knowing rain is coming and the sky getting all dark...but still not knowing WHEN it will be here. The boyZ wanted to go on a bike ride tonight but the sky was so dark and the wind was blowing. I knew a storm was coming so I told them we couldn't go...guess what storm didn't come for 3 hours. UGH I was so upset!

Guess what?!?!? I won Lauren Meader's Weiman Wrangler contest!!!!! I am so excited! Not only is this for a wonderful cause and t he stamp set is OH SO CUTE, but I also have $25.00 to spend at Pink Cat Studio! I am so excited! I don't have many stamps from there and I have a few on my wish list that I will now be getting WAHOO!!! Thanks so much Lauren!!!

I started this card a few days ago and just finished it today. I have just couldn't make this one work. I used Cami's Weekend Sketch for this card. I like the star in the middle and I decided to make a Sheriff Badge with Ethan's face in the middle. I was happy with the way it came out. Zakary saw the card and said "Kylah that's a cool Sheriff badge can you make me one too?" So that made me REALLY happy!

I used Gina K's digital paper called "stars and stripes" which is FREE on stamptv. Just become a member and you will see all the FREE items she offers!!!! I also used OUT WEST for HOWDY and the horseshoe.

Thanks to Cami for a great weekend sketch....maybe next weekend I can post it DURING the weekend....OH WAIT prob not it's the 4th of JULY! :o) Not sure what we are doing yet though? Fireworks are on Friday and Chris works....I will DEF take the boyZ though! Hopefully Zain will not be scared!

I hope you have a wonderful time doing whatever makes you happy!

Hi Stamping Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a nice start to your work week! I was able to take a nice walk with my friend Avril today. Just her and I no kids. We walked for about an hour and a half. It was so nice! I can't wait to go again on Wednesday!

I made this card a few weeks ago for Zain's friend Evan. He had to have tubes put in his ears :( Poor little guy. Zain and I walked to his house and left this on his porch.

Colored my Gina K image with Copic makers. LOVE GINA K stamps! LOVE MY COPICS!!! OHHH and NEW SU colors....totally forgot the name of them right now....it will come to me soon I hope LOL!

I am going on a Scrapbook/Stamp Store trip next Monday and I am soooo excited. We are going to travel to a bunch of different stores in NH. WAHOO!!!! I LOVE ordering online but there is something about touching and feeling the product before you buy....then having it in your hands right then and there ;o)

Well I am having a bit of a creativity block tonight so I am going to attempt to make a card.....Wish me luck!

Have a great time doing whatever makes you happy!

The Weiman Wranglers

The Weiman Family has touched my heart. Ethan's pictures jumped out from the computer screen and I smiled with him. 4 year old Ethan lost his 2 year battle with cancer last week. I have much admiration for his family as I have grown to know them through this blog. Tears of joy and tears of sadness wet my cheeks as I read Alicia's words. I have no idea the pain they are feeling but my thoughts and prayers are with Alicia and her family.

Pink Cat Studio has done as AMAZING thing!!!! They made The Weiman Wranglers Digi Stamp Set!!!! All proceeds will go to Make a Wish Illinois Foundation in Ethan's name. Ethan was a true cowboy!!!! This set is PERFECT!!!! I got the entire set for only $8.00, 2 sentiments with Cowboy Ethan, and Cowgirl Ava (Ethan's sister). Not only are these images super super cute but what an AWESOME cause!!!! As of this afternoon PCS has raised OVER $1000.00 for Make a Wish!!!!!

I read on someone's blog "God definitely picked another perfect Angel!!"

Ethan is colored in using my Copics and I then cut his out :) I used some old SU DSP and the sketch from SCS sketch challenge. I hope you all enjoyed my card and are able to play with YOUR new Weiman Wranglers!!!!

Checks out these blogs for some great give a ways just by using your new Weiman Wrangler Images!

Flamingo Quilt

HI Stamping Friends!

Oh boy I have been so sleepy this week!!! I have been falling asleep by 10pm on the couch! This is not like me at all!

I made this card for another stampTV challenge last week! Joanne Basile was the host...She is so fun! I was able to meet her a few months ago when I went to Stamp NE :) We had to make a quilt card...I saw the challenge and almost passed because I have no idea what a quilt is suppose to look like. I then decided this is what a CHALLENGE is all about so I grabbed some DSP and off to work I went. I was very lucky because Eleanor's hair dresser Elaine was there and helped me put it together :) I think it came out GREAT!!!! I made this card for my mom because she loves pink flamingos.

I paper pierced all around the triangles and used my white gel pen to get a stitched look.

Off to work I go....I have a few purses a friend wants me to make so hopefully I can work on that while Eleanor is in activity :)

Happy Stampin Day!

Happy Birthday Zakary!

Good Monday Morning!!!!

Whew what I BUSY weekend I had!!!! My 10th year high school reunion was this weekend in Claremont. We went to Claremont on Friday afternoon and came home Saturday afternoon. It was nice seeing some old friends!

Saturday was Zakary's birthday....He is 7!!! He spent his birthday at his mom's house this year so I made him this card and mailed it to him. I used the Gina K stamp set called WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT. Such a cute set!!! I also used last weeks SCS sketch challenge.

I colored the image in with my copics. It was a very simple layout and not a whole lot of accessories or layers because I had to put it through the mail :)

Off to work I go! I have to teach a class at the nursing home this afternoon! Those ladies get so excited!!!!

Happy Monday!

Out West Thanks

HI Stamping Friends!

I have been having so much fun playing all of the challenges over at StampTV this week! I used the Gina K stamp set Out West designed by Theresa Momber. This set is AMAZING!!!! I actually borrowed it but I HAVE to own it! If you know anyone who loves horses this is the perfect set for them!!!! I used the sketch challenge they had last week :) What a FUN FUN sketch!

I colored these wonderful images in with my Copic sketch markers!

I broke out some retired SU designer paper and old IN colors. It felt so good to use these colors again :) I wish I had more :)

Friday I have my 10 year reunion from igh school, as I sit here and write that I find it very hard to believe! TEN YEARS....WOW it feels like just a few years ago that I graduated. It will be nice to see some of my old friends that I have not seen in a long time :)

Off finish up the dishes

Hi!
I had a wonderful time tonight stamping with some Stampin Up friends :)  The projects were WONDERFUL and if you want to check them out go to Cindy's Blog for the next couple of weeks...I am sure she will be posting them :)

I made this card last week with my FIRST Sarah Kay stamp.  I LOVE all of these stamps!!!!  I NEED more!  I colored the image in with Copic markers on Gina K white paper.  I was actually really happy with the way my coloring came out.  I really think ANYONE can color with Copics....I mean come one...if I can do it anyone can!  I used an old sketch from a SCS challenge :)

Here are a few pictures from Story Land....
Zakary 44 inches tall!
Zain 34 inches tall!
My family at the end of our Story Land day :)  What fun we had!!!!

HI!

Ahh what a wonderful weekend!!!!  My family went to the White Mountains on Saturday morning and went to STORY LAND with the kids!  What a wonderful place!!!  We had soooo much fun!!!!  I will post a few pictures tomorrow:)

Last week I did another stamptv challenge :)  I used this beautiful butterfly from GinaK :)  The paper came from Michael's.  I got a huge pack on clearance for only 4 bucks!!!!  This challenge was a sketch challenge!  I really think those are my FAVORITE!!!!  I used Copics to color the butterfly in.  Pretty easy card but it looks so elegant :)

Well I am pretty beat and Chris has a movie in the DVD player...off I go.  I hope you all had a great weekend as well :)

Red, White, Blue Bubble Fish

HI Stamping Friends!

Monday night I had dinner and coloring with some of my favorite stamping girls!  I always get so inspired to stamp more when I hang out with them!!!  I got home around 9:30 pm and instead of putting my feet up (ya right like I EVER do that!) I went straight to my stamp room and started to challenge over on StampTV.  You had to use Red White and Blue, but it COULD NOT be a patriotic card.  I borrowed a few of Cindy's Gina K stamp set and this is what I came up with.  For whatever reason this card did NOT just come together!  It looks like such a simple card but it feels like it took me ALL night!

The Gina K stamp that I used is called BEST FISHES.  It is so cute.  Go check out all of the great  stamps here.

I am off to bed!  I am one sleepy girl today!!!!

Have a great night!  :)

Harley Babe for Birthday Boy

HI Stampin Friends!!!

First I would like to say...YES i know this is a plain card...not much going on :(  My excuse.....I made it DURING my club party for my good friends husband. His birthday is TODAY.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL!!!!  I wanted to make him a card, but didn't have much time.  He LOVES LOVES LOVES his Harley so I decided to pair up this great paper with the bathing suit Bella!  He really got a kick out of the card.  On the inside I wrote "from one hottie to another"  LOL :)

There are so many things I see I "should have" done to this card....aka would have done if I had more time....I would have embossed the top of the orange with my cuttlebug (soon I will be saying BIG SHOT it was ordered today YIPPIE) added some rhinstones somewhere....I could go on and on.....

Okay so I am trying to decide if I should watch The Secret Life of Bee's tonight or wait till Sunday when Chris is at his concert....hmmm I could go make a fun purse....Well I am off to decide :)

I hope you all have a fun safe holiday weekend!

Stamping Love!

HI Stamping Friends!!!

So Zain has been sleeping for  and a half hours so far...it is a beautiful day and I want to get outside...BUT will NOT wake him because then he will be a bear!  I have watched my guilty pleasure GH ;)  and my stamp room is all cleaned waiting for me to mess it up when he goes to bed tonight ;)  I don't want to start a card because I am sure he will wake SOON!!!!

So I decided to post this card I made for my friend Meg (hey girl!) a few weeks ago.. Don't you just live the reds and pinks together....I am going through a red and pink phase.....you will see over the next few posts!!!!  The DSP I used is SU's PINK FLAMINGO!  LOVE IT ( I know I already said this)  I used one of my new Bella's...she looks so comfy in her PJ's holding her bear!  I colored her using my copics.  I could have done a better job with the pink...it does not look very even....  I used some red liquid applique on her slippers and collar of her jammies.

The card sketch I got from SCS challenge a few weeks ago.  the sketch challenges are my favorite!!!!  I have not even posted this to SCS....I really should!!!!  Oh but I hear my little boy!!!!  Time for a nice long walk n such a beautiful NH day!

Stampin Love to you all!

HI Everyone!

WOWZERS we have had a week of rain here in NH with a few hours of the sun coming out for a little tease.  How I do miss the sun!

Last weekend I did a quick little demo at Spring Fling.  My SU upline, the ever so talented, Cindy Lawrence put this wonderful event on :)  I was busy busy busy making some samples for that event....now I just feel burnt out so I took a few days off from stamping....I did make this quick card (lately all my cards have been quick) for my friend Jeff.  I just love this stamp set!!!  It can be found at Pink Cat Studio and the stamp set is called Dress up Billy!  Billy is so cute...so is Lilly!  I made a card for my dear friend Avril with Lilly and forgot to take a picture :(

I colored "Jeffie" (aka Billy) with my copics and added a J to his shirt :)  I also scored the red CS to make a nice textured background (not sure if you can see it very well in the picture)  I am loving the new SU oval punch!  Very handy!

Well Mr. Zain is napping so I should go ink up some of my new Bella Stamps and play with my Copics....

I hope to post my projects from last week SOON!!!!  Just have to take some pictures!

Have a wonderful Thursday!

Baja Breeze in the Garden

Hi Everyone!
WOW I am loving all this beautiful weather here in NH!!!!  It is making it so hard for me to get ready for my demo at my local SU Spring Fling this weekend.  Needless to say I have been staying up VERY late every night because I am not starting to work till 10pm....Actually though I am feeling very good about my projects.  I am demoing "GREAT GIFTS FOR UNDER $5.00"  You can still make someone a FAB gift for not a ton of money.  I am so happy with some of the items I have made!!!  I will share them with you after Saturday!  Maybe I will give you a little sneak peak tomorrow ;)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp set...I think I have mentioned this before!  I really wanted to use the Parisian Breeze Specialty Textured DSP!  OH is it so yummy!  (So is the Pink Flamingo DSP CINDY)  So I used WCP and my reinkers to color in the image.  I also used my Stampamagig to line up my images so I would not waste any of my WCP if I messed up.

I also used my CB embossing folder to give the top part of the card some texture!  I wanted to try and not use ribbon on this card although it would have looked beautiful so I added some buttons to the right hand side with thread instead.

I was really happy with the way this card came out!!!

Have a great day to YOU!

Birthday Card for Ella

OH MY GOODNESS we had some BEAUTIFUL weather in NH today!  I was outside ALL day!  We had a birthday party for Miss Ella today and I decided to make her card 15 minutes before having to leave.  YIKES...that is how nice it was outside I didn't want to come in!  I used Lauren's Color Challenge for this card and I was happy with the look of it!  I would have added more accessories if I had time.  My girl friends and I swapped some images last week and I got this Bella Image for Cindy Lawrence.  It is oh so cute.  I may need to stamp it a few more times next time I see her :)  I was going to make another card just like this (plus more accessories) but I was coloring her while I was watching Grey's on the DVR and I was crying so hard that I messed it all up.  BOO HOO!!!!  So in the trash it went.  Oh and I used my very last piece of Baja Blue ribbon....I love these SU IN colors and I am very sad they are going away in a short while!  I am going to have to stock up!
Well I am so tired.  Off to bed I go.  Have a WONDERFUL Sunday!
Thanks  for stopping by for a look :)

Lauren's Saturday Sketch on FRIDAY! :)

HI!  Today I decided to play in one of Lauren's Saturday Sketch Challenges!   I love this layout and just had to make 2 cards.  A boy card and a girl card ;)  I was looking through my stash of cards the other night and I don't have any boy cards....I had so much fun making this card.  I kept picturing this little dragonfly from Bella Stamps as Zain LOL!!!!  I colored the little dude in with my Copics on Gina K white Lux paper.  When I was all done coloring I looked at it and thought one more stroke rigggghhhht here...and  that is when I went outside of the lines.  I was so mad!  Instead of getting frustrated I just covered it up with my white gel pen and went on my way haha!!!!  I decided to use some old SU DSP that I have been hoarding.  My girl friends told me I hoard so girls I am using this for you :)  I was quite excited with my boy card!!!

Now my girl card not as excited about.  It took me forever to find some DSP that I looked and I couldn't find 2 different ones that matched well....I made 6 of these cards and kept the boo boo card for myself forgetting to take a picture of the "good" ones.  The "GOOD" cards didn't have an empty space at the bottom.  As I went to stamp this card the phone rang and my placement was just all wrong...BUT I didn't want to waste it!  I cut the butterfly out and used some stickles and Crystal Effect...oh so shiny and pretty IRL

Well that is it for me today...off to a playdate that I am already late for because it took Zain forever to fall asleep at nap time.  He really needs his naps too or he is CRANKY.  We are going to dinner with friends tonight :)  That always makes me happy.

Have a wonderful night and make sure you check out Lauren's blog on Saturdays for her fun Challenges.  ALL NEW IN MAY!!!! (what am I talking about check her blog EVERYDAY!)

Where is all my Stamping time?

Hi Everyone!!!!

Oh wow where did time go?  My last post was weeks ago....I haven't even really been stamping either.  I am redoing my stamp room and it has been one BIG mess!!!!  I went to IKEA and got a couple of really cool items.  I will share them with you as soon as my room is complete!  I really want to make a table so it may be a few weeks....who really knows.

So I am still loving my Copics!  I am ordering some more the end of the week LOL so bad! but OH SO GOOD!!!!

I just love this set from SU's mini catalog!  I really think this will be a hot seller.  I colored this same image with my Copics about 6 times :)  I was just having so much fun and I was practicing :)  I know I am such a DORK!!!

I have been reading some blogs and getting tips on how to color with my Copics.  Everyone is so nice to share!  www.ilikemarkers.blogspot.com is a great teaching site!  I sat up last night till 2am reading!  I can't wait to go color!

I spent a great evening with friends on Monday night and we did an image swap.  I will be coloring those soon and posting them.  Girls I love ya!

Digital Images!

Hi Everyone!!!

I am so excited about digital images!!!  They are the coolest thing!  I bought mine from Little Paper Shop, go check them out they are pretty cheap too!

The first card I did was with colored pencils because I didn't have my Copics yet....BUT I do NOW!!!  I used the image Mom and Chick.  It is oh so cute!!!  I can't wait to use this image with my Copics! The second card I made this morning at the nursing home while Eleanor was taking a nap.  One of the nurses needed a birthday card for her daughter I used the image Katie Mushroom.  I got the new DSP that is in the new mini from SU.  OHHH and I got some liquid pearls that I had to try as well!!!!  I couldn't really get the shading down on this card but I am still practicing!

I LOVE MY NEW COPICS :)

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!

For a Girl OR a Boy!

Good Morning Everyone!

I watched Twilight last night and it was a good movie but the book was much better.  There are so many more details in the book that the movie never even touched.  If you LOVED the movie and have not read the book you NEED to read it!

Yesterday I decided to play in the Color Challenge over at SCS!  I was so happy to see Jodi aka Kharmagirl was hosting.  She picked Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, and Kiwi Kiss.  Here is the card I came up with.  How excited was I when I saw that I had Copic markers that matched these 3 colors!  I am still playing with my markers and falling in love a little more everyday!  I know I will be needing to get some new ones soon LOL!!!  I am so addicted!

I paper pieced some of the shopping bags with SU DSP...I thought it tied the card together very wonderfully :)  I also dyed my SU organza ribbon with the Copics....thanks to Cindy Lawrence for showing us that little tip at SNE!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!  I am hoping to play in another challenge today if everything goes as planned.

Thanks a BUZZZillion

Happy Monday Morning!

I wish I had one more weekend day but here it is Monday morning!  I got so much done in my house yesterday and I am very excited to stamp for fun this week!  I am going to use my brand new sketch book that we made at SNE this past weekend.  I am hoping to use everyone's favorite sketch :)  I will show you the very cute sketch book that Karen Motz designed!  (Have I told you how cute Karen is!!!)

My friend is coming over tonight to make a nestabilities storage book with me that I found on a blog a while back....I will share that as well :)

I made this card a few weeks ago for Lauren Meader's Saturday sketch, Mytimess23.  So I am VERY late posting it but that is ok :)

I had a fun time using this little bee set again...I used my yellow stickles...LOVE that stuff!  I sponged around the so saffron piece which I also ran through the cuttle bug.  The sentiment I used is from Family Phrases...it is a very nice set to have!

Today I am going to play with the Gina K showtime stamp kit that I won this weekend!  There were 2 stamp sets, pure luxury card stock and patterned paper, and a whole pack of embellishments!  What a lucky girl I am to have all this fun stuff to play with :)

Talk to you soon!!!!

Oh my goodness I am so excited and I just couldn't wait to share with everyone!  I just went to a fabulous event in Portsmouth NH at the Sise  Inn put on by 3 INCREDIBLE  ladies!  JoAnne BKim Schofield, and Julie Masse made Stamp New England one of my favorite stamping trips!  I had such an awesome time.  It was a packed day without the stress and overwhelming feeling! I was able to go  with a small group of my favorite stamping friends, I met some new wonderful friends *HI GIRLS*, and learned a lot of really cool stuff!  Oh and wait guess what...It felt like we were on the Oprah show because we kept getting FREE stuff!!  As you can see from my first photo I was able to meet Lauren Meader.  I LOVE  HER!!!!  She is the nicest, most caring, talented woman you will ever meet!  IF you have not checked out her blog you are missing soooo much.  Thank you Lauren for taking time out of your day to chat with me :)

I have so many items to share from this weekend but I will just start with my name tag and swap card.  I went to Michaels the other day and was so excited to see that they got all new scrapbook paper!  It is so pretty!  I bought about 10 new pages and I really had to stop myself because I could have kept going.  My name tag is very simple yet I feel it shows a few of my favorite things!  I LOVE butterflies and PINK so this paper was for me!!  I love any kind of border punches and decided to go with SU's new one.  I can't wait to get some of the new EK Success punches!  Dew Drops...well ya!!!!  I had to add those :)  OH and how BEAUTIFUL is this flower!  Kirsten made one for all 6 of us! We all looked so cute with our flowers!  Thanks KFS!!!!

I had so much fun making this swap card!  My dear friend JoAnn came over and helped me cut the paper because I had so many projects to get done last week.  I used the Bella stamp huggybellas and paired it with SU's new single stamp "So Glad we are Friends".  When I bought this stamp it really reminded me of my dear friend Avril and myself....so there we are  :)  I had fun coloring the girls in with my aqua painter and reinkers.  I purchased this beautiful ribbon from Flourish's a few months back.  It is so pretty!!!!  Oh and look Dew Drops again :)  I am in love :)
I purchased my first batch of copic markers and so far so good.  I do still need to play with them more but they are pretty cool!  I was lucky enough to  get some great tips this weekend at SNE!!!!  Oh man I can't wait for the next one!

There is so much more I need to share so keep in touch!  Have a wonderful day!

Hello!!!!

How is everyone today?  I am just peachy. Monday we had about 6 more inches of the white stuff fall from the sky.  I heard we are suppose to see some more snow on Wednesday.  I love the way snow makes the trees look so beautiful after it falls...BUT I also love the idea of tulips popping up...I am afraid they will not be doing any popping anytime soon with all this snow.

This is my second card I made for the small swap I was in.  I used my pastels which I have not used for a while and I forgot how much I LOVE them!  I had a lot of fun making this card!  I put some diamond stickles on each leaf, this really makes the tree come to life!

I bought some digital images from LITTLE PAPER SHOP tonight and I am so excited to play with them!  I tried one tonight but I got frustrated because I will be needing some COPICS....I said I would never buy them but now I NEED them for these images.  I tried heat setting my images then using my SU markers but the ink still bled SOOO I see COPICS in my near future.  For now I will be coloring these cute images in with colored pencils.  If anyone has any other tips for me please let me know :)

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Tuesday!

Oh I am on page 424 in NEW MOON hahahahaha

Happy Stamping!

BZZZ Bee's Cute and Scary!

Hi Stamping Friends!

How are all of you doing???  I am great!  I have been very busy with work and life the past few weeks, I have barely had any time to stamp :(  and less time to blog {double} :(

I made this for a small swap that I was in.  I was 100% inspired but all of the wonderful talented ladies over at SCS!  I CASED most of this card, and now can not find the designer anywhere.  I know I wrote it down somewhere???  If this looks like your card leave a comment for the credit!!!!

I just LOVE these little bee's they are so cute!!!  Even though IRL (in real life) I am quite scared of bee's.  My brother almost died from being stung while I was babysitting him while we were younger.  He is VERY allergic, so is my dad...my grandmother told me he almost dies when he was a kid as well.  Needless to say they both have epi pens in case of a sting.  We do joke about it all the time so maybe I will make him a card using this set.....

My goal this week is to post to my blog 3 times.  I miss posting everyday...I want to get back to that!!!!  Wish me luck!

Off to go read my book NEW MOON (ya I am never going to get any stamping done HAHA...seriously tomorrow night is stamping night after Zain goes to bed!)

Have a wonderful day, and it is GOOD to be back!!!

Good Morning!  Today is Zain's 2nd birthday and I am so excited because he sort of gets it!  He has been running around for 2 weeks saying TWOOOO!

Here is the quick invites I made for his party.  I saw the design in the SU catalog and LOVED it.  I put red liquid appliqué on the balloon to make it pop.

Well I am off I have a CRAZY BUSY day today....I have to get the rest of the party stuff together, drive to NY, make the frosting and the cakes, and all of my motherly duties as well :)

What?!? Could it be????

HELLOOOO!!!!

Yes it is true your eyes are NOT playing tricks on you!  I am HOPEFULLY back!  After my computer crashed it took me a long  time to get into the swing of things again and that includes stamping...When I finally started to stamp again I found myself not having any time to blog...well friends I am making time NOW!

I have been doing a lot of blog surfing and I am making the cards that I really LOVE!  I found this card on my friend Cindy Lawrence's blog and knew I really wanted to make it.  You can check out her card here!

The biggest pain was cutting the rose out.  BUT after I was done with the card it was OH so worth it!

I have a very busy week making party decorations for Zain's second birthday so you will start to see a lot of CARS on here :)  I was going to have a Handy Manny theme party but he likes CARS just as much as there are so much more CARS things in the craft store :)

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!
