Beautiful Jenelle Birthday!

Good Morning Stampers!!!

Yes it is really me!!!! How are you all doing? I have been wonderful! I took a little break this month from stamping to spend some time with my awesome family! These are the most important people in my life and I am so glad I am able to be with them!!!!

I made this card a few weeks ago for my friend Danika's daughter Jenelle! She turned 1!!!!! What a special special birthday!!!!! I used Lilly at the Beach from Pink Cat Studios! I can not tell you enough how much I love these stamps! I used my Copics to color Jenelle (LILLY) in and added some glitter to her fins. I used the new Burmuda Bay ribbon from Stampin Up which matched PERFECTLY with the Designer paper I picked out. I THINK the paper is from Basic Grey!

Zakary is at his moms this week, but will be back next Sunday for his last full week here before school starts. Our house is going to be so quiet when the school year begins and Zain is going to miss his brother so much! Every other weekend is just not enough time for him to be with us. Thank goodness for school vacations!!! Zak has made so much progress here with us this summer! He is eating vegetables, his manners have improved tremendously! He is swimming like a fish! And so much more!!!! Chris and I are so proud of him!!!! We could really see the light at the end of the tunnel back in June and here we are just 2 short months WOW!!!!!

I am hoping to get some crafting in this week as well!!!! If that sun is shining though I will be outside with Zain!!!!!

Rain is here today so we are getting caught up on some MUCH needed house work!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy!!!!!

Biker Babe

HI Stamping Friends!!!

Last night my mom took the boyZ for a sleep over. Zakary was so excited. He never gets to sleep over there because Chris and I are a little selfish since his time here during the school year is so limited. He is here a lot more in the summer so he was able to go and talked about it for the first 3 days! LOL Chris and I had some adult time last night and it was spectacular!

I made this card using Cindy's Dirty Girl sketch from a couple of weeks ago. The Dirty Girls over on SCS had a whole weekend of challenges. I am hoping to print more off and put them in my book so I can play soon!

On this card I used some of Gina K's digi paper. Can I just say what an awesome idea to whomever thought of that! I love it because usually when I buy a pack of paper I have my favorite sheets....then when it's all gone I have to buy a whole new pack IF I can find it...Digi paper...always have what I want!!!!!

I used the bikabababella which I have been wanting for some time now! I got her when we went for our shopping trip. I also for the little yellow flowers as well. I colored my image with my copics...duh hahaha

Off to get the two Z's today. Hoping the weather is nice enough for Chris and I to join them in a quick swim before heading back home. I love the pool on hot sunny days!!!!

Have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy!!!!

Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call

Hi Stamping Friends!!!!

Yes you read the title correctly, I am apply to be on a Design Team for Inky Impressions! I do not have any of their stamps.....YET and I actually just heard of the company and let me tell you the stamps are SO CUTE!!!!! Go check out the store and let me know what you think!!! My favorite is Lili's Secret and UH OH Spaghettio O's. How cute would those 2 stamps would be on a card!!!!! I can not wait to place my order!!!!!!

In order to apply for the DT (Design Team) I had to post one card and one non-card project that displays coloring. I used my Sarah Kay stamp and used my Copics on Gina K paper! The DSP is some VERY old SU paper that I thought went well with this image!!!! I loved coloring this image in!!!!

I sat at dinner tonight with Chris and the boyZ, I was so excited to let them know I would be in my stamp room for a "real" reason tonight. I started telling him about the deadline, this that and other things....he then looked at me with horror in his eyes and said "Kylah today is the 3rd" So here I am at the last minute posting to my blog. I must have been having way too much fun with the family the past few days....Really where did July go?

For my non-card project I made a photo album for the boyZ! They have been playing ball together outside and I have captured some great moments. I wanted somewhere to display them all. I used Tyler the jock from Bella. I also colored him with my Copics on Gina K paper (which I need more of ASAP!!!!!) I love the little clips from Stampin Up. It just added a little something to the project. I also distressed around Tyler and the layering colors. I usually don't like that look but on this project it just fits!
I want to thank everyone at Inky Impressions for this wonderful opportunity! I also would like to wish everyone that tried out GOOD LUCK...I have gone to your blogs and you all ROCK!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful day doing whatever makes you happy....I know I have been!!!!!

Light Problems

Hi Friends!

Man oh man I have been having some serious problems taking pictures of my cards! This one looks horrible but it was the best one out of 25!!!!! Hoping to play more with my camera soon so I can see what's going on.

I used Gina K's OUT WEST stamp set for this card....which I just gave back to Cindy WAAAAHHH BUT hoping to buy VERY soon!!!!

The designer paper is one that I bought from my shopping trip a few weeks ago. It just screams Cowboys!!!! I colored my image with my copics and the card sketch was over on Gina K's stampTV!

Last night we went to see AC/DC with Zakary and it was so much fun!!!! He had a GREAT time, I am so excited that we could do this for him!!!!

Well off to go get Little Z at my moms!

Enjoy doing whatever you love most!

Sunflowers

Hi!

I had such a beautiful image of this card in my head and "THIS" is what came out. So not what I wasthinking about. I made this for my grandmother's birthday.

I used a sketch from SCS and used Gina K stamps. I then added black chunky glitter to the center of the flowers. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I was so upset after doing this and Zakary was working on a project next to me....he said Kylah I really like the glitter and I think Mum will too....plus you made it that will make her love it. That really touched me....I have been trying to make him understand how important handmade gifts are and how they are made with so much LOVE....I think he is getting it!!!!!!

Well I am off to watch a little TV before heading to bed! I hope you all have so much fun doing what you LOVE!

Chillin Birthday

What a wonderful Saturday!!!! It started off a little rainy, but Chris and I had high hopes so we pack up the kids and drove to the beach over in Sunapee, NH. We are so happy we did because the day was BEAUTIFUL!!! They had so much fun playing in the sand and swimming in the COLD water!!!!! I even got in!!! We picked Sunapee because I use to go there when I was much younger and we really like bringing the kids to places we use to go when we were their age ;o)

We left the beach and came home to get ready for a good friend Corey's birthday dinner at a local restaurant. You know me that meant I had not made the card yet....I grabbed berrafella stamp from Bella and a few Copics and this is what I came up with. So sorry about the phot...I took it in the car (on the way to dinner) on my skirt haha!!!! We had a yummy dinner and an enjoyable time visiting with our friends!

Well I am off to sit with Chris...I think he needs a little aloe on his back...not enough sunscreen today....

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend I know we will!!!!!! Thank you so much for stopping by I love seeing all the new people that have been commenting it means so much!!!! Always brightens my day!

Hoppy Birthday to You!

Hi Stampin Friends!

What a wonderful day I had today!!!! I spent most of the day working with Eleanor and then came home to all 3 of my boyZ! We had a fun afternoon in the backyard with the pool and water guns! Tonight I started a new "training" program with my friend Cindy (you may have heard of her one happy stamper ;o) ) We are starting walking/running intervals and tonight we hit the cemetery. We had a GREAT workout and I feel wonderful! I am so excited to do it again on Sunday!

I am also so excited about this card!!! I won Lauren Meaders contest a few weeks ago and my prize came in the mail from Pink Cat Studio the other day! I couldn't wait to ink up Billy! This image with the frog on his head is just so cute!!!! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday paired with some new designer paper from my shopping trip last week! I colored Billy with my copics ;o)

Speaking of my trip I forgot to mention that I met a great Blogger!!!!! Donna-Marie ROCKS! She works at Wholly Scaps in North Hampton, NH. This was our last stop on our shopping trip and the store was GREAT!!! Donna-Marie really knows her stuff!!!! Check out her blog and make sure you say HI!!!!!!

Lots to do tonight! I have a workshop tomorrow evening....maybe I should figure out what we are doing ;o) Have a wonderful night!
