Hi Everyone! Chris's sister Shana is expecting her first baby in December. She had her baby shower a few weeks ago and here is the card I made for her. As soon as I saw this Bella I knew I had to have it! The first thing I thought of when I saw it was popping out her belly with paper piecing. It looks so darn cute! Paper piecing is so easy and adds a great look to your stamped image! All you do is stamp the portion of your stamp on some DSP, cut it out, and glue in on VOILA done! I also paper pieced some of the bags and watercolored the rest of her. I had to add a little glittler to her hair cause it's oh so pretty!!! I got a little carried away when I was coloring her hair and oops wnt right into her eye....oh well we all make mistakes! So what did I use you ask? Stamp: Bella (forgot th mae of her teddybella I think Paper: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, US white, and Urban Garden DSP Ink: Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Pretty in Pink, and Blush Blossom Accessories: Dew drops, stampin dimensionals, Baja Breeze ribbon, and aqua painter
I also made her a diaper cake. This was actually the first boy one I did and it was so much fun! I like to add some tags with "advice" on it....from one mom to another ;) I really love making these diaper cakes and what a great gift they make!
Today is world Card Making day so go ahead stamp yourself a card! Have fun doing it!!!!
