I got inspiration from a wonderful stamper on SCS go check out ponygirl40! She is so talented! Check out her entire gallery while you are there!!!! I had to make 18 of these cards! My fingers were hurting after I cut out that cute little couple. I loe how she used Lovely as a Tree in the background! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that set and have not used it for a while. So here is what I did with this card:

Zak with Frankie

Good Morning!
Last weekend when Zak was here it was a YUCKY rainy day so when Zain took a nap we played in my stamp room. I was making some Frankie treat bags that I will share with you later in the week...We are making them at my Treat Class on Thursday night. I gave Zak all the stuff he would need and a picture of Frankie and he did everything himself! He did a WONDERFUL job!!! Oh can I just tell you how much I LOVE the Top Note Bigz Die that Stampin Up sells!!! I have a cuttle bug and it goes through it so easily!

Off to prepare for my treat class!

I LOVE Fall Walks!

Hi Everyone!

I HAD to share a few pictures from our walk today.  I just love walks in the fall!  The air is so crisp and all I can say is AHHH!!!  Zain had a great time running through the park.  I think his favorite part was watching the waterfall!  When my sister Hannah and I tried to get him to leave the waterfall he FREAKED out!  Hey my boy has a good taste for a wonderful view!

I hope you all had a wonderful day!!!

Backpack with SKULLS

Good Morning!

I do have a lot of things to show you all that I have been doing over the last few weeks! I made this cute little backpack that I have been seeing all over blog land! I found some great instructions from Inking Idaho and it made it a breeze to whip up. The first one took a little thinking but as you complete your first one you will be itching to make more! Zakary found this in my stamproom and now wants a lunch box to go with it LOL!!!! This is a really cute idea for a school teacher...just fill it with some candy or anything that you would like to give them! Here is what I did
Followed pattern from Inking Idaho
Paper: Black, US White, Ghostly Greetings DSP I colored every other skull red
Stamp: Just Jawing (LOVE IT)
Accessories: Star Designer brads with crystal effect and red glitter, Crystal Effect on the small black circles, Skull ribbon I found at Michaels.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Oh Baby!

Hi Everyone!
Chris's sister Shana is expecting her first baby in December. She had her baby shower a few weeks ago and here is the card I made for her. As soon as I saw this Bella I knew I had to have it! The first thing I thought of when I saw it was popping out her belly with paper piecing. It looks so darn cute! Paper piecing is so easy and adds a great look to your stamped image! All you do is stamp the portion of your stamp on some DSP, cut it out, and glue in on VOILA done! I also paper pieced some of the bags and watercolored the rest of her. I had to add a little glittler to her hair cause it's oh so pretty!!! I got a little carried away when I was coloring her hair and oops wnt right into her eye....oh well we all make mistakes! So what did I use you ask?
Stamp: Bella (forgot th mae of her teddybella I think
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, US white, and Urban Garden DSP
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Pretty in Pink, and Blush Blossom
Accessories: Dew drops, stampin dimensionals, Baja Breeze ribbon, and aqua painter

I also made her a diaper cake. This was actually the first boy one I did and it was so much fun! I like to add some tags with "advice" on it....from one mom to another ;) I really love making these diaper cakes and what a great gift they make!

Today is world Card Making day so go ahead stamp yourself a card! Have fun doing it!!!!

Mum, Mum?, MUM!!!

Hi!
I came home from work the other day to find this awesome message on my fridge!  I have the sweetest boys!  Chris helped Mr. Zain put this up for me!  He said that Zain was yelling MUM, MUM, MUM all day.
Last week for the club party I wanted to make a Halloween card so I used the MUMMY card that has been floating around on blog land for a few weeks.  Avril forwarded me Dannie's blog and I followed her directions.  For whatever reason I was not placing my stripes in the right place and there were holes.  So I just took the scraps and made extra bandages.  I like the way it came out!  It was a really easy card and they really liked it!
Tomorrow we are off to Zak's football game in NY...oh yes in the RAIN!!!!  UGH!  I love watching his games but I hate  the drive and I hate cold rain!  I am keeping my fingers crossed it will stop just for the game :)  It is a 2+ hour trip and Zain really hates the car.  Sometimes he falls right asleep but other times he just wants OUT!  We are leaving right when we get up in the morning so I doubt he will sleep!  We have the DVD player all hooked up hoping the TV will entertain him.  He does not really have any interest in the TV...which is a good thing, but honestly sometimes it would be a little easier if he would just sit and watch one 1/2 hour show...not pushing it though because I know there will be one day that I will be complaining that all my son does is watch TV LOL
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  It is going to rain all weekend here :(

Where am I?

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for the past week. I am been very tired so I caught up on some much needed ZZ's! I wanted to share some swap cards from my club last week. The Red White and Blue card is by JoAnn May, the Pink card is by Chelly Downing, and the Halloween card is by Buffy Tarr! These 3 ladies did an awesom job! I have 2 more I need to share as well! The bottom card is the card that I made for the swap. I used directions from SCS and I hallenged myself to use Tangerine Tango. I have to admit it was not my favorite color...BUT I must say it has grown on me! I used the Haiku DSP from Stampin Up with the INspired by Nature stamp set. I LOVE that set!!!! To keep t his tri fold card closed I used a Filigree brad but instead of the plain silver brad it comes with I used a green rhinstome from Making Memories. I really LOVE how this card turned out! Well hopefully I will not be MIA for a while! I do have a lot of things to share with you all! Have a wonderful night...I am off to watch Grey's....YAHOO!!!
