Mum, Mum?, MUM!!!

Hi!
I came home from work the other day to find this awesome message on my fridge!  I have the sweetest boys!  Chris helped Mr. Zain put this up for me!  He said that Zain was yelling MUM, MUM, MUM all day.
Last week for the club party I wanted to make a Halloween card so I used the MUMMY card that has been floating around on blog land for a few weeks.  Avril forwarded me Dannie's blog and I followed her directions.  For whatever reason I was not placing my stripes in the right place and there were holes.  So I just took the scraps and made extra bandages.  I like the way it came out!  It was a really easy card and they really liked it!
Tomorrow we are off to Zak's football game in NY...oh yes in the RAIN!!!!  UGH!  I love watching his games but I hate  the drive and I hate cold rain!  I am keeping my fingers crossed it will stop just for the game :)  It is a 2+ hour trip and Zain really hates the car.  Sometimes he falls right asleep but other times he just wants OUT!  We are leaving right when we get up in the morning so I doubt he will sleep!  We have the DVD player all hooked up hoping the TV will entertain him.  He does not really have any interest in the TV...which is a good thing, but honestly sometimes it would be a little easier if he would just sit and watch one 1/2 hour show...not pushing it though because I know there will be one day that I will be complaining that all my son does is watch TV LOL
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  It is going to rain all weekend here :(

Where am I?

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for the past week. I am been very tired so I caught up on some much needed ZZ's! I wanted to share some swap cards from my club last week. The Red White and Blue card is by JoAnn May, the Pink card is by Chelly Downing, and the Halloween card is by Buffy Tarr! These 3 ladies did an awesom job! I have 2 more I need to share as well! The bottom card is the card that I made for the swap. I used directions from SCS and I hallenged myself to use Tangerine Tango. I have to admit it was not my favorite color...BUT I must say it has grown on me! I used the Haiku DSP from Stampin Up with the INspired by Nature stamp set. I LOVE that set!!!! To keep t his tri fold card closed I used a Filigree brad but instead of the plain silver brad it comes with I used a green rhinstome from Making Memories. I really LOVE how this card turned out! Well hopefully I will not be MIA for a while! I do have a lot of things to share with you all! Have a wonderful night...I am off to watch Grey's....YAHOO!!!

Love the Bella Girls!!!

Wow I just love these Bella Stamps!  I think every girl should have one!  They have so many of them!  I just got 7 of them in the mail the other day! i can't wait to use them!

For this card I started to go through some of my new designer paper and I found this striped piece in the Parisian Summer pack that I really wanted to use!  I paired it up with Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgundy CS.  I used my cuttlebug embossing folder and I included some So Saffron Poly-Twill ribbon!  So YUMMY!!!  And YES I used dew drops!  I love those things!  Time to order more I think!!

Well I have been a very busy girl this week!  I had a workshop tonight and I will take pictures of my swaps to share with all of you!  I didn't get Heather's though :(  If you make another one take a pic and send it to me!!!!
I have been busy with laundry and such because I just really want to stay on top if that!
I am off to bed!  Early tonight!!!!  I have not been seeing my bedroom till at least 1AM!

Hello Everyone!
Last night as I was sitting on the computer I started to think about the swap I was invited into on SCS.  I knew the due date was 9/13...I also THOUGHT I had plenty of time.  I was not stressed at all!  Then the date caught my eye WHAT?!?! 9/9 HOLY SMOKES...I better get those swaps DONE and in the mail.  So last night I made this really cool Baja Breeze card.  It is called a gate fold card and you can find the directions over at SCS.  I sponged the edges of the DSP...I think it gave it a nice look!  These cards were a lot of fun to make.  This is the first swap I have done come up with.
Today Zain missed his nap because we had to go for a follow up appt for his shoulder.  They forgot to order the x-rays so we were at the clinic for 2 hours.  They said it is healing very well and we have to go back in 3 weeks to make sure it is 100% healed.  He was a very tired boy tonight!  Daddy gave him a bath and then sat him on the couch.  I just love this towel and he usually will NOT keep the hood on.  He just sat there for a few minutes so I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures.  Bed time was a snap tonight, he was soooo tired.  He actually smiled at me when I told him it was night night time.
Well it is now night night time for me!  Have a GREAT day everyone!

Sparkly Fairy CC183

Hello!
Today I decided to play on SCS!  I did the Tuesday Color Combo Challenge.  Today's colors were Green Galore, Going Gray, and Riding Hood Red.  Yikes colors I would not normally use together.  Something about Green Galore.....Any how I was actually quite pleased with the way my card came out!  I found this Fairy stamp set from Michael's yesterday.  It is made by Inkadinkado...When I saw the set it first screamed GLITTER and then WATER COLOR!!!!  So I grabbed it.  They were not even on the shelf yet...still laying in the box on the ground.  I sat right there and went through the whole box.  There are some really nice sets in there!!!!  I only got 2 maybe I will go get some more next week ;)
I have put glitter all over the fairy's hair, wings, and on the polka dots on her outfit.  I put these rhinestones, that I also picked up at Michaels a few weeks ago, on the center of the flower and the bottom row of the scallops.  I used my nesties (thank you JoAnn!) for the wonderful rectangle!  The cuttlebug is what embossed my background and yup I did some paper piercing!  I hope you enjoyed my card.  I really had a fun time glittering it up!

YOU ROCK!!!

Hi everyone!  I am here for a quick post before I go to bed!  I just fell asleep on the couch but because of that NOTHING on my to do list got completed.  While I was in Florida my dear friend Avril decided to host a FAVORITE NEW STAMP SET SWAP....I thought I was too late to sign up when I finally got the email BUT there was my name in the 2nd spot with JUST JAWING.  Does she know me or what?!?  I was so psyched when I saw this stamp set in the new catty!  As soon as I saw it all I thought was glitter in the heart eyes!!!!  This skull reminds me of the skull blanket that my dear friend Michelle made for Zain before he was born.  I will HAVE to take a picture of it tomorrow so you can all see it.  Ok so here is my swap card.  I made this card for my swap with my club girls last month as well.  Tonight I was suppose to be working on other swap cards for SCS BUT didn't get to it....hopefully tomorrow afternoon!!!!  Have a great night! I am going to bed!

Sleepless in Keene

Well Hello!  How was your weekend?  Mine was very productive, we got so much needed housework DONE!!!  Well actually let's think about that...it really is NOT done because housework is NEVER done...so we got it caught up to date LOL!
As you can see I am sleepless yet again...and this time it is NOT because of my son!  I had Chinese food tonight with family in Claremont and now I am thinking that is was not a very good idea!  UGH I hate having a stomach ache!  I am such  a baby when it comes to that!  I would much rather give birth...I am not even kidding!  (my labor was not too bad as you can tell)  So anyhow while I am up and awake waiting for this to go away I thought I would post Zain's new cup!  I found this straw cup at Target and it is specifically made to decorate.  I think you are suppose to let your child decorate, but I wanted to LOL!  It came with a few blank sheets of white paper that fits right inside the cup so I decided to stamp his name in REAL RED CRAFT INK (so it won't fade) and then put a skull border around the top in the bottom.  Now that it is the Halloween season there are skulls everywhere!  Everytime he sees them he points and has just started saying "ULLS"  Way too cute LOL (I know there are people out there thinking I am nuts but I am not I promise.)  Well Zain is now going to be the ROCKINGEST (is that a word?) KID on the playground!!!!
Ok off to see if I can get any sleep!
