No New Projects....photos that is

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to give you a little update.  I do have some new projects I have been working on just no pictures of them yet.  I have had a pretty busy weekend...my brother graduated...OOOHHH I found my camera!!  Wahoo!

Today I got a phone call from my mom and my Pop has stage 4 bone cancer....so today has not been a very good day.  We are planning a trip down to FL in the next couple of weeks so please just bear with me and my postings.

Well I am going to sit and watch a movie now....maybe it will help a little.

No Stamping?

Hello!  For those who want to know Zak's Birthday party was great and he told us that he had a great time...Oh and he loved all his presents LOL  I will upload some pictures in the next couple of days.

I just want to let people know that I probably won't be blogging much on Sat, Sun and Mon nights because that is when Chris is home and I want to try and spend as much time with him as I can because we don't see each other at all the other days of the week.  But here it is Monday and I am blogging.  He actually went to bed early because he has not been feeling well.

OK...I made this card a few weeks ago because                                                                                         my upline Cindy featured me on her dowline blog.   So if you are part of SBD go check it out!  I feel very honored to be a feature...Oh and let me tell you I was the first one.  I was shaking as I made some extra projects...I had no idea what would be good enough.  This card is called a Two-Way Open card.  It was so fun and easy to make!  Oh and look NO stamping.  I used rub-ons.  Man those things are additive!!!!  Guess what paper I used...Afternoon tea...MY FLIPPIN favorite!!!!!

Tomorrow night I am going to a demo only class at Cindy's house.  WAHOO!!!  This is my first one and I am so excited!  Oh you bet I will be back tomorrow night showing off whatever beautiful creations her and Ann Walker came up with!!!!!
Till then Good Night

Bind it All...ROCKS!!!!

Oh how I love little machines!  For Mother's Day Zak and Zain (AKA the best dad in the world, Chris) got me the bind it all.  I really didn't think I would be able to use it but this thing is SSOOO easy!  This is my first project I used it with.  It is so flipping cute!  It is a little book with pockets made out of ONE 12x12 piece of paper!  ONE that's it!  I think I may have pushed a little to hard when I went to shut the wires because they were a weird shape...but that's okay that's what ribbon is for...to mask any mistakes ;)  Plus I think the ribbon makes the project!
Well it's 9:30 quite early for me to be posting...(I made this project a couple of weeks ago) should I go to bed, stamp, or watch the tube with my man?  YUP he is home and we were able to spend the whole day together....I think I will sit with him because the long work hours start up again tomorrow ;(
I hope everyone is keeping cool in this heat wave we are going through!  It is suppose to be even hotter tomorrow!!!!  Whew good thing for AC!!!
Happy Stamping!

More Challenges

Hi!
Tonight I went and saw Sex in the City...OHHH how I miss that show!   It was a good movie I thought they ended the series well, but now that I have seen the movie I like how this one ends better!

Well...I had very good intentions on going to bed early tonight.  It's Friday night so I know Chris wouldn't be home anytime soon...I should catch up on sleep...but first just let me surf some blogs for a half hour...HAHA  ya right!  I went to the Great Swaps Girls blog and found a cool sketch, go check it out!  So I decided to do it...I have never sent in a sketch to a before the SBD sketched...so I am not sure if I am going to send this one in.  So I have also been seeing a color sketch everyone has been doing.  I think it was on SCS, it was chocolate chip and sage shadow.  Sage Shadow use to be my favorite color and now I remember why!!!!  I used my favorite set Botanicals that retired back in 2005.  I used my Nestabilities ahhh those things rock!!!  Oh and there is a pearl in the middle of the flower from the Pretties kit.  Well I hope you enjoyed my card!  Chris is home now and he is telling me all about his specials he served at the 21 tonight...it all sounds YUMMY!

Nighty Night!

SBD Color Challenge

Today I finally finished my SBD Color Challenge card.  The challenge was to use black, white, and ONE other color.  The card I decided to send in was the Elegant Eggplant card.  I have not used this color in a really long time so I just went with it!  I embossed the large stamp from Baroque Motifs in black (which I have not done in a while) ALSO I used my STAMP MA JIG who knows if thats how you really spell it and I am too tired to go check my book.

The bottom card was kind of CASED from Cindy.  I saw her card on her blog and just played a little.  I didn't want to use it for the challenge though because it was a little like hers....Oh but I must tell you hers is much better LOL

I did take more pictures tonight of projects I have been working on so hopefully I can post again SOON!!!!

Have a wonderful Friday  (in 15 minutes that is)

Well hello everyone!  Sorry I have been MIA!  Chris just got a new job and I am trying to adjust to the hours.  He is home much later then before and there just seems to be lots more to do.  He is now the head cook at the 21 Bar and Grill and LOVES it!  I am so excited for him because you can see his face light up when he talks about it.  He is doing the kind of cooking he LOVES!  I can't wait to be able to go in there and try one of his specials out very soon!

Okay off to my project...This is something very close to what I made for Avril.  I just change a couple of things around.  I gave her hers before I took a picture I know silly me but then I was forced to make myself one.  I covered chipboard with card stock and a glue stick.  I really love the SU glue sticks...I MUST get more!  The I decorated them...and lookie there no stamping at all!!!  I am LOVING rub-on's!  Then to attach  the chip board together I just used jumbo eyelets and ribbon.  Wahoo Done!

Well I hope you enjoy!  I have to either go cook for tomorrow OR go finish my challenge card for SBD...HMMM what will it be?????

Till next time
