For a Girl OR a Boy!

Good Morning Everyone!

I watched Twilight last night and it was a good movie but the book was much better.  There are so many more details in the book that the movie never even touched.  If you LOVED the movie and have not read the book you NEED to read it!

Yesterday I decided to play in the Color Challenge over at SCS!  I was so happy to see Jodi aka Kharmagirl was hosting.  She picked Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, and Kiwi Kiss.  Here is the card I came up with.  How excited was I when I saw that I had Copic markers that matched these 3 colors!  I am still playing with my markers and falling in love a little more everyday!  I know I will be needing to get some new ones soon LOL!!!  I am so addicted!

I paper pieced some of the shopping bags with SU DSP...I thought it tied the card together very wonderfully :)  I also dyed my SU organza ribbon with the Copics....thanks to Cindy Lawrence for showing us that little tip at SNE!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!  I am hoping to play in another challenge today if everything goes as planned.

Thanks a BUZZZillion

Happy Monday Morning!

I wish I had one more weekend day but here it is Monday morning!  I got so much done in my house yesterday and I am very excited to stamp for fun this week!  I am going to use my brand new sketch book that we made at SNE this past weekend.  I am hoping to use everyone's favorite sketch :)  I will show you the very cute sketch book that Karen Motz designed!  (Have I told you how cute Karen is!!!)

My friend is coming over tonight to make a nestabilities storage book with me that I found on a blog a while back....I will share that as well :)

I made this card a few weeks ago for Lauren Meader's Saturday sketch, Mytimess23.  So I am VERY late posting it but that is ok :)

I had a fun time using this little bee set again...I used my yellow stickles...LOVE that stuff!  I sponged around the so saffron piece which I also ran through the cuttle bug.  The sentiment I used is from Family Phrases...it is a very nice set to have!

Today I am going to play with the Gina K showtime stamp kit that I won this weekend!  There were 2 stamp sets, pure luxury card stock and patterned paper, and a whole pack of embellishments!  What a lucky girl I am to have all this fun stuff to play with :)

Talk to you soon!!!!

Oh my goodness I am so excited and I just couldn't wait to share with everyone!  I just went to a fabulous event in Portsmouth NH at the Sise  Inn put on by 3 INCREDIBLE  ladies!  JoAnne BKim Schofield, and Julie Masse made Stamp New England one of my favorite stamping trips!  I had such an awesome time.  It was a packed day without the stress and overwhelming feeling! I was able to go  with a small group of my favorite stamping friends, I met some new wonderful friends *HI GIRLS*, and learned a lot of really cool stuff!  Oh and wait guess what...It felt like we were on the Oprah show because we kept getting FREE stuff!!  As you can see from my first photo I was able to meet Lauren Meader.  I LOVE  HER!!!!  She is the nicest, most caring, talented woman you will ever meet!  IF you have not checked out her blog you are missing soooo much.  Thank you Lauren for taking time out of your day to chat with me :)

I have so many items to share from this weekend but I will just start with my name tag and swap card.  I went to Michaels the other day and was so excited to see that they got all new scrapbook paper!  It is so pretty!  I bought about 10 new pages and I really had to stop myself because I could have kept going.  My name tag is very simple yet I feel it shows a few of my favorite things!  I LOVE butterflies and PINK so this paper was for me!!  I love any kind of border punches and decided to go with SU's new one.  I can't wait to get some of the new EK Success punches!  Dew Drops...well ya!!!!  I had to add those :)  OH and how BEAUTIFUL is this flower!  Kirsten made one for all 6 of us! We all looked so cute with our flowers!  Thanks KFS!!!!

I had so much fun making this swap card!  My dear friend JoAnn came over and helped me cut the paper because I had so many projects to get done last week.  I used the Bella stamp huggybellas and paired it with SU's new single stamp "So Glad we are Friends".  When I bought this stamp it really reminded me of my dear friend Avril and myself....so there we are  :)  I had fun coloring the girls in with my aqua painter and reinkers.  I purchased this beautiful ribbon from Flourish's a few months back.  It is so pretty!!!!  Oh and look Dew Drops again :)  I am in love :)
I purchased my first batch of copic markers and so far so good.  I do still need to play with them more but they are pretty cool!  I was lucky enough to  get some great tips this weekend at SNE!!!!  Oh man I can't wait for the next one!

There is so much more I need to share so keep in touch!  Have a wonderful day!

Hello!!!!

How is everyone today?  I am just peachy. Monday we had about 6 more inches of the white stuff fall from the sky.  I heard we are suppose to see some more snow on Wednesday.  I love the way snow makes the trees look so beautiful after it falls...BUT I also love the idea of tulips popping up...I am afraid they will not be doing any popping anytime soon with all this snow.

This is my second card I made for the small swap I was in.  I used my pastels which I have not used for a while and I forgot how much I LOVE them!  I had a lot of fun making this card!  I put some diamond stickles on each leaf, this really makes the tree come to life!

I bought some digital images from LITTLE PAPER SHOP tonight and I am so excited to play with them!  I tried one tonight but I got frustrated because I will be needing some COPICS....I said I would never buy them but now I NEED them for these images.  I tried heat setting my images then using my SU markers but the ink still bled SOOO I see COPICS in my near future.  For now I will be coloring these cute images in with colored pencils.  If anyone has any other tips for me please let me know :)

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Tuesday!

Oh I am on page 424 in NEW MOON hahahahaha

Happy Stamping!

BZZZ Bee's Cute and Scary!

Hi Stamping Friends!

How are all of you doing???  I am great!  I have been very busy with work and life the past few weeks, I have barely had any time to stamp :(  and less time to blog {double} :(

I made this for a small swap that I was in.  I was 100% inspired but all of the wonderful talented ladies over at SCS!  I CASED most of this card, and now can not find the designer anywhere.  I know I wrote it down somewhere???  If this looks like your card leave a comment for the credit!!!!

I just LOVE these little bee's they are so cute!!!  Even though IRL (in real life) I am quite scared of bee's.  My brother almost died from being stung while I was babysitting him while we were younger.  He is VERY allergic, so is my dad...my grandmother told me he almost dies when he was a kid as well.  Needless to say they both have epi pens in case of a sting.  We do joke about it all the time so maybe I will make him a card using this set.....

My goal this week is to post to my blog 3 times.  I miss posting everyday...I want to get back to that!!!!  Wish me luck!

Off to go read my book NEW MOON (ya I am never going to get any stamping done HAHA...seriously tomorrow night is stamping night after Zain goes to bed!)

Have a wonderful day, and it is GOOD to be back!!!
